International Journal of Pluralism and Economics Education (IJPEE)
The objectives of IJPEE are listed as follows:
- to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas thereby fostering communication within the growing pluralist community;
- to advance the techniques and concepts of pluralist economics by providing practical suggestions to incorporate pluralism into the classroom;
- to offer teachers and educators interested in pluralism an outlet for their research; and
- to change the emphasis of economic education by making pluralism a central feature.
The editorial board consists of John Davis, Andy Denis, Sheila Dow, John Groenewegen, Deirdre McCloskey, Hüseyin Özel, and Steve Ziliak among others. Jack Reardon is the editor in chief.
I am looking forward to reading the first issue.
I was not able to update this blog because access to wordpress.com was banned in Turkey. Now the ban is over and Homo Phileconomicus is back.
I hope to write often and inform you about the curious world of Homo Phileconomicus.

Building on its previous research in the history of econometrics, modelling and measurement in economics, the History and Methodology Group of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the UvA is starting a new project. A recently awarded innovational research grant (VIDI) from the Netherlands Science Foundation (NWO) will enable us to write a history of observational practices in economics. Schelling “for having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis”.
